Our Story
Rehearse was born from a simple observation: performing arts teachers were using social media to share training videos with their students. Dance teachers would record classes, upload videos to social media, and leave feedback in the comments. It worked, but it was far from ideal.
Then Australia's social media ban for under-16s changed everything. Suddenly, the makeshift solution that teachers had relied on was no longer viable. Students couldn't access their training videos without social media accounts, and parents were rightly concerned about exposing their children to social platforms just to watch dance class feedback.
We saw this as an opportunity to build something better—not just a workaround for the social media ban, but a platform purpose-built for what teachers actually need: a simple, fast way to share video feedback.
